WFCS Students Giving Back

In the WFCS Community, we treasure each student and find ways to serve each other as the need arises.  We work together through involvement with local missions and teach respect for the environment through outdoor educational experiences.  We teach a Christian worldview and participate in cross-cultural service projects.  Listed below are some of the recent projects students have participated in:

Volunteering though Humanitarian Projects

In October of 2019, our 4th and 5th grade students spent the day at the GAiN Logistics Center. Through humanitarian kindness, GAiN expresses Jesus’ love in the toughest places on earth by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope.

The fifth graders worked together to sort, match up and package 3,357 pairs of sandals to be shipped to another country and possibly provide the only pair of shoes for an adult. They prayed over 3 full pallets and enjoyed learning more about missions and how to serve others!

"Trash Stash" - Community Clean-Up

For the past 30 years, West Fallowfield Christian School students and families work in association with PENNDOT's annual "Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful" roadside trash pick up program.  The "Trash Stash" team at WFCS works in 10 townships in Chester and Lancaster counties.  Held in the Spring, the workday is a major fundraiser project for the school.  The students enjoy cleaning up the community.
