I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Slippery Rock University and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education at West Chester University. From 2002 to 2005, I was the first grade teacher at WFCS. In 2005, I became the Resource Room Coordinator until 2016. Most recently, I worked for Brain Balance Achievement Center (Wilmington, DE) as the Center Director.
I love to run and do things outdoors especially kayaking, hiking and heading to the beach. I love spending time with my family too, exploring new experiences or conversing about life and where it is taking them. I have been married to my husband Dick for 34 years and attend Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church. We are blessed with two children, Ben who is an Athletic Director at Pequea School District and is married to a wonderful woman, Morgan. Rylee recently graduated from Wilkes University in Marketing and Management and has started her first real job as a Marketing Sales Specialist.
I am so excited to be back at WFCS as a classroom teacher teaching second grade. After a short break, God has led me back to the classroom. I feel like I have come full circle. I am looking forward to helping each child reach their full potential in all areas of learning and enhancing their love to learn.
